A few weeks ago I added this round coffee table to our family room. It started out white, but I quickly added a coat of black spray paint, since the white was a little too Golden Girls for me. I’d love to add some barn wood to the top for a little texture and farmhouse flair.
We quickly found out that the size of this table (although I always go for the largest coffee table available – cause it’s such a hard working essential piece of furniture), this table was just too big for our family room.
We only had a few inches between the furniture and the table. Wahh.
I still have visions of this coffee table working perfectly in our next house. And, I’ve got a trick up my sleeve on how to add a barn wood top to it.
So, a change had to be made.
This chicken coop coffee table was in my master bedroom, getting very little use.
It’s perfectly light and airy with the perfect wood patina that goes with both my leather sofa and the denim chambray slip covers.
