First, go to picmonkey and create your graphics.
Don’t worry. If you have no idea how to use picmonkey,
I’ve included a free download at the end of this post with the graphics I’ve created. So, you can steal mine.
Take your graphics to a copy center and have them blow up the images the size of your canvas.
I used 16′ x 20″ canvases.
Flip over your copy paper and cover the entire page with chalk. Any color will do.
Turn your paper over and place it where you want it on your canvas.
Tape down the corners to keep it in place.
Trace over the letters on the graphics with a pen or pencil.
This will transfer the chalk from the back side onto your graphic.
Use a paint pen to draw over the chalk lines you created when you traced the graphics.
Fill in and add do-dads wherever you see fit.
Are you ready to try some chalkboard art for yourself?
I’ve created a free printable for you to download. There are 4 sayings in all.
pin it here so you can come back to it year after year!
