There’s nothing like flowers around the house to instantly make you smile. I don’t know why we need to wait for Spring to arrive to start adding flowers arrangements and bouquets around the house, but this has to stop!
I love a vase of fresh flowers, but I’m not afraid of fakes either, not matter what Oprah says!
So, I was inspired to create this faux flower arrangement in one of my favorite vintage tool boxes.
The beauty of the flowers paired with the chippy rusted patina of the tool box is perfection!
Here’s a few of my tips to help you out:
- use an unexpected container
- stay monochromatic – use one color with a variety of flowers – I used roses, hydrangeas and some other stuff I have no idea what they are.
- over stuff it – too much is never enough
- add a little height with taller flowers sprinkled throughout.
And this suckers gonna’ last all year long!
