If you’re new here, let me introduce myself. I am Denise Sabia and I am the design coordinator for DIY Network’s Stone House Revival. Season 3 premiered a few weeks ago, and if your a fan of the show, you saw this week’s historic farmhouse dining room renovation. I know I had few favorites things in this episode, what were yours?
Let’s start with the dining room. Jeff and his crew revived this beautiful stone wall that had been covered up for decades. The low hanging ceiling was much prettier without all the drywall, and made the room appear more spacious too.
I’ll take an exposed ceiling over dry wall any day.
Who wants a close up? Gorge, huhh?
I’d also like to mention what a ridiculously skilled craftsman you have to be to scribe out this section next to the stonewall. I’m constantly amazed at the crews work. So shout out to Steven Drummond and his guys from SDG Design & Construction for their hard work on this job.
This was one of my favorite light fixtures all season!
Did you catch my big butt stenciling the stairs? Yupp, that was me.
