STONE HOUSE REVIVAL KITCHEN RELOCATION
ARE YOU A FAN OF DIY NETWORK’S STONE HOUSE REVIVAL?
If you’re new here, let me introduce myself. I am Denise Sabia and I am the design coordinator for DIY Network’s Stone House Revival.
Season 3 premiered a few weeks ago. Stone House is on every Wednesday at 9pm Eastern on the DIY Network.
Did you watch last night’s episode?? What was your favorite part?
Here’s a little recap in case you missed it…
Jeff visits a couple at their 1732 home to address their unique wish to build a new kitchen in their living room. During the renovation, Jeff and the crew face a few bumps as they knock down a wall, relocate the plumbing and try to bring some history back into the space.
This was a COMPLETE renovation, as the space used to be a living room. So much time and effort went into this episode.
I love the back wall covered in reclaimed lumber.
The wood and glass pendents from Denney Electric were simple yet charming. *Remember, if you are every interested in purchasing any of the light fixtures you’ve seen in episode 3, just contact Denney Electric to order. You’ll also get 10% off if you mention The Painted Home*
Jeff found the corbels below and used them as part of his reclaimed wood hood.
Do you love the marble arabesque back splash? I do. And it works well with the marble herringbone used around the fireplace facade.
The sink is a little bit of a modern touch, but the vintage charm of oil rubbed bronze.
Touches of black travel around the room.
Did you notice the curtains? They’re painter’s drop cloths.
This chunky beam is the perfect accent to separate the family room from the kitchen dining area.
I found this old door at Vintage Inc. I clean it up and dry brushed several colors onto it. Black chalkboard paint was used to create a weekly memo board for the family.
Hope you loved this weeks renovation! Next week is the final episode of season 3!! Fingers crossed for season 4!
