With the holidays approaching, I thought I’d put together some tips on how to wow your guest’s creatively while entertaining this season.
First, you’re definitely going to want to set up a bar. If the weather where you are is nice, why not take it outside!
Don’t forget the games. Besides being a great accent to your coffee table, it’s the perfect ice breaker if you’re hosting guests who have just met.
Atmosphere is everything! Candles are the perfect solution. Here I added floating candles to tiny tea cups I found at an auction.
Layer, layer, layer…
Wrap it up. Grab some belts and add a little texture to your simple glass vase.
Pack the bar. Keep the layers going with trays, drawers and vintage suitcases to hold your supplies.
A signature drink is always a crowd pleaser, make a sign to let your guest know.
Who wouldn’t love a pig bottle topper?
Go with a theme. Apple beer? Apple accents.
Keep all necessary tools handy, but keep it cute. Use a vintage apron tied to the side of your bar.
Use your chalkboard for artwork and the menu…
Keep your corks. When we remember, we have the guest write a note on the cork from that nights wine. It’s a fun way to remember special nights and events.
