I’m in love with this little slice of heaven I created in the center of Denney Electric’s Lighting Showroom.
We added the brick wall, an area rug and all new furniture & accessories.
We added the faux brick paneling and I’m still debating if I want to add a white wash over it or a Belgian Smear.
The area will be a space where clients can chat with salespeople and go over lighting plans.
I used this skinny island/tall sofa table to create a work surface.
Under the island I added these storage crate to hold color samples swatches.
The tufted linen stools are the perfect place to sit and check out your light plans or look through catalogs.
The area to the left, the bookcase, will be painted the same black as the fireplace and new baskets will be added to house the catalogs.
Here’s a far away shot to give you some perception. The “living room” is in the middle of Denney Electric’s lighting showroom.
And here’s the before image.
…and the after
Quite a difference, ehh?
Here’s the original design board I presented to Denney Electric.
pretty close to the real thing , eh?
Of course I had to add a little “painted home”touch to the place. So , I rolled up some vintage music sheets and popped them into the mirrored vases.
If your a Pennsylvania local, you might be happy to know that not only can you get all your lighting at Denney’s, but you can order all the furniture you see here and then some!
Hopefully this little nook in their store will entice you to stop in and check out what they offer. I was so surprised at the furniture selection that Denney’s offered!
